Details of some ISPs for SuSE Linux

© Volker Kuhlmann, 11 Oct 2004
SuSE Linux ships with a list of internet service providers (ISPs) whos connection details are already known to the system. Unfortunately, none of them are in New Zealand. To rectify this, a list with details of some common ISPs can be downloaded from here. To install, copy the file to
    /usr/share/providers/NZ.conf
and run the command
    chmod 644 /usr/share/providers/NZ.conf
Both must be performed as root. This is tested with SuSE Linux 9.1, but should also work for soem versions before and after.
